HON CHIEF DR MRS MARY ISHAYA AFAN MNI (FEDERAL COMMISSIONER) EXTENDS SINCERE CONDOLENCES TO PROFESSOR NENTAWE YILWATDA ON THE PASSING OF MAMA LYDIA YILWATDA


Hon Chief Dr Mrs Mary Ishaya Afan mni, the Hon Federal Commissioner representing Plateau State in the National Population Commission (NPC), extends the deepest sympathy of the Commission to the family of the late Mama Lydia Yilwatda, to Plateau State, and to Nigeria at large on the passing of Mama Lydia Yilwatda, mother to Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, the current National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Until her demise, Mama Lydia Yilwatda was a dedicated servant of God.

In this time of poignant bereavement, Hon Chief Dr Mrs Mary Ishaya Afan mni conveys sincere sympathies to Professor Yilwatda, his family, and loved ones. The demise of Mama Lydia Yilwatda, a devoted and virtuous matriarch, is a loss felt deeply by all who knew her legacy of grace, dignity, and compassion.

The Commission prays for the repose of the soul of Mama Lydia Yilwatda and for the fortitude of Professor Yilwatda and his family to bear this loss. May the memories of Mama Lydia Yilwatda's life of service, love, and devotion be a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew her. May the soul of Mama Lydia Yilwatda rest in peace.
