Hon. Chief Mrs. Mary Ishaya Afan, MNI Mourns the Passing on to Glory of Late Lt. General Taoreed Lagbaja

Hon. Chief Mrs. Mary Ishaya Afan, MNI, Federal Commissioner representing Plateau State at the National Population Commission, and the entire Commission family, extend their deepest condolences to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, the Government, and people of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, on the passing of Lt. General Taoreed Lagbaja, the Chief of Army Staff.

We mourn the loss of a visionary leader, dedicated patriot, and selfless servant. Lt. General Lagbaja's remarkable legacy, distinguished career, and unwavering commitment to Nigeria's unity and progress will forever be remembered. His selfless service to the nation has been lauded by many, including the Acting COAS.

May God grant the family, friends, and the Nigerian Armed Forces the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. May his soul rest in peace.

As we extend our condolences to the President, we acknowledge the high esteem in which Lt. General Lagbaja was held, and the significant role he played in serving the nation.
