Hon. Chief Mrs. Mary Ishaya Afan, mni, Condoles with Bokkos LGA over Recent Attacks
The people of Bokkos Local Government Area, particularly the families affected by the recent tragic attacks in Forof, Gyetel Kwatas Ward, and Hurti Village in Manguna Ward, have my deepest condolences. My heart goes out to you during this incredibly difficult time.
The senseless acts of violence that have claimed lives and destroyed properties are truly devastating. I stand with you in condemning these atrocities and urging the government to take swift and decisive action against the perpetrators.
As we mourn the loss of loved ones, I call on the relevant authorities to publicly condemn these attacks, ensuring accountability and justice for the victims. Enhanced security measures must be deployed to protect lives and restore peace in the affected areas.
Immediate humanitarian relief should be provided to the victims, ensuring their safety and dignity. Furthermore, stakeholders must engage in meaningful dialogue to address the root causes of these conflicts and foster sustainable peace.
We must unite across tribes and communities to support the government's peace efforts. I have confidence in Mr. President's leadership to implement effective measures that will strengthen security and rebuild affected communities.
Let us work together towards economic growth, stability, and peace in Plateau State. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Signed,
Jessy Plang
